We, the SGT David Coullard Memorial Fund, Proudly supports;
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund
Sincerely Yours
Anita & greg
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically i…ll members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. We direct urgently needed resources to post 9-11 service members within 24-72 hours of request.
The Semper Fi Fund (SFF) provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs.
Our program provides support in a variety of ways including Service Member and Family Support, Specialized & Adaptive Equipment, Adaptive Housing, Adaptive Transportation, Education and Career Transition Assistance, PTS and TBI Support, Team Semper Fi, and America’s Fund: a self-funded program administered by the Semper Fi Fund that currently assists those service members with catastrophic injuries in intensive care units at our nation’s military hospitals, regardless of what military branch they serve in.
Tax-deductible contributions from people like you make up our lifeblood. Whether your donation is large or small, a one-time gift or ongoing endowment, you have the power to make a real difference, here and now; no matter where in the world you live.
Help us help those who have given so much in the name of freedom.
Semper Fi Fund.
Sincerely Yours,
Anita & Greg Dziedzic

I would like to thank Clifford Paquette, for a great time.

In our over 200 year history there has never been an official national symbol that specifically recognizes in gratitude and respect the ultimate sacrifice made by members of the United States military in service to our nation. The Honor and Remember Flag was created for that purpose.

DSC00074

This is our 4th year holding our event and we have raised over $20,000 dollars to date for groups such as Wounded Warrior, Purple Heart Homes, The Patriot Guard, and many more. However, fundraising is just a bonus to us, we do this to
honor our heroes and their families, dozens of which have attended our past
events. We hope that this year in Middletown we reach a whole new level.

Frank Forest of the Glastonbury, Ct VFW

Frank puts together goodies boxes for unites over seas. He must do well over 10 to 12 packing’s.

We have many people that cook home made goodies.  People come to help pack  and some to do paper work.

Children’s come to make cards and personal message’s to our service people.  After all the work is done he has lunch for his help.

His next one will be:

SUPPORT THE TROOPS  WITH VFW ‘MARCH MADNESS’

             PACKING EVENT ON  FEBRUARY 10

GLASTONBURY,  Conn. – VFW  Post 7659 and its Women’s Auxiliary are sponsoring a collection  and packing event on Sunday, February 10, 2013, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., at South  Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes Street, East Hartford. The theme of the event  is “March Madness” and is designed to support our soldiers by sending a little  bit of home to those serving our country overseas.

Donations  of snack foods, such as small packages of potato chips (less than 6 ounces),  boxes of crackers, dips (in non-breakable containers), cookies and other fun  foods are needed. The goal is to ship care packages that will allow our troops  to enjoy watching “March Madness” basketball.

The  group also needs donations of socks. All items must be dropped off between 12  and 1:30 p.m. St. Patrick’s Day cards and spring cards and pictures are also  encouraged. This is a perfect project for youth groups.

Volunteers  are needed from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. to sort and pack donated items.

The  VFW has purchased a number of tickets to the church’s chili cook-off for  volunteers to enjoy, starting at 11:30. Volunteers should sign in with the VFW  to receive a free ticket to the event.

“This  is a small way that we can say thank you to our many devoted volunteers. The  church’s cook-off is always a fun event,” said Frank Forrest, who organizes the  packing events.

Monetary  donations are also needed to defray the costs of postage. It costs approximately  $15 to ship each 25-pound box. The total shipping bill usually comes to more  than $1,000. Checks  should be sent to: VFW Post 7659, c/o Frank Forrest, 165 Maple Street, East  Hartford, CT 06118.

For  more information or to volunteer, call Frank Forrest at 860-690-2845, or e-mail  glastonburyvfw@aol.com.

Glastonbury CT, VFW

 Frank Forest,

From the VFW Glastonbury, CT.

He has a care &  cookie packing’s. The Sgt David Coullard Fund helps out with mailing costs.

Many of the people think that because we brought soldiers home there is not the need  for mailings. The fact is, that we will always have our men & Women overseas.

Even thought many of our soldiers have come home, there still many over seas that need our suport.

We must not forget them, Not a one must be forgotten!
